世界語(Esperanto)創始人柴門霍夫150週年

世界語（Esperanto）是最為廣泛使用的人工語言。波蘭眼科醫生柴門霍夫（Łazarz Ludwik Zamenhof）在對其進行了十年的創作工作後於1887年創立了這個語言的基礎。世界語的命名來自於Doktoro Esperanto（希望者醫師），這是柴門霍夫第一次出版《第一本書》（Unua Libro）時所使用的筆名。世界語的定位是國際輔助語言，不是用來代替世界上已經存在的語言。柴門霍夫的目標是創立一種簡單易學而靈活的語言，一種普世的第二語言，用來促進世界和平及國際了解。現在一些世界語者仍然抱著這樣的期望，但大多數的人只是想用它來與外國人打交道以及了解其它的國家和文化。今天，以世界語為母語的人士約1000人。能流利使用的人估計十萬到兩百萬人。

2009.09.23 CHALLENGE

I met the biggest CHALLENGE of my life today. Before today, I was so nervous! I couldn't sleep and eat. Otherwise, I had a nightmare! I need a psychologic counselor. There were ninety people in the class. It's so many! My heart beat 200 times per minute! I couldn't image they are just woods. I prepared 20 minutes for introducing this program, but I just spent 10 minutes. Did I speak so quickly? I couldn't say anything more. Every second just like an hour, how slow! Go! Go! Go! Janet!

今天面臨了我人生當中的一大挑戰，實習課！前幾天就一直很緊張、很慌張，睡不著覺、吃不下飯、做惡夢啦！我需要心靈治療師。修課人數90人，也太多了吧！不緊張也難，心跳200！完全沒辦法把他們當作是木頭，原本準備好的草稿是20分鐘，我卻只花了10分鐘就講完了，我講話有這麼快嗎？？？有這麼快嗎？我辭窮了，完全擠不出話來，每分鐘就像一小時這麼久，度日如年呀！Go! Go! Go! Janet!

今天也是中元節，又是忙碌的一天。
Today is Ghost Festival, still a busy day.

The Ghost Festival (simplified Chinese: 中元节; traditional Chinese: 中元節; pinyin: zhōngyuánjié, alternatively simplified Chinese: 鬼节; traditional Chinese: 鬼節; pinyin: guǐjié) is a traditional Chinese festival and holiday, which is celebrated by Chinese in many countries. In the Chinese calendar (a lunisolar calendar), the Ghost Festival is on the 14th night of the seventh lunar month.

In Chinese tradition, the fifteenth day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar is called Ghost Day and the seventh month in general is regarded as the Ghost Month (鬼月), in which ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower realm. During the Qingming Festival the living descendants pay homage to their ancestors and on Ghost Day, the deceased visit the living.

On the fifteenth day the three realms of Heaven, Hell and the realm of the living are open and both Taoists and Buddhists would perform rituals to transmute and absolve the sufferings of the deceased. Intrinsic to the Ghost Month is ancestor worship, where traditionally the filial piety of descendants extends to their ancestors even after their deaths. Activities during the month would include preparing ritualistic food offerings, burning incense, and burning joss paper, a papier-mache form of material items such as clothes, gold and other fine goods for the visiting spirits of the ancestors. Elaborate meals would be served with empty seats for each of the deceased in the family treating the deceased as if they are still living. Ancestor worship is what distinguishes Qingming Festival from Ghost Festival because the latter includes paying respects to all deceased, including the same and younger generations, while the former only includes older generations. Other festivities may include, buying and releasing miniature paper boats and lanterns on water, which signifies giving directions to the lost ghosts and spirits of the ancestors and other deities.

這兩天當同學的導遊，搭了好多次台中市的公車，我對台中市真的很不熟很不熟，只知道台中港路直直走直直就可以回到家，左右兩邊的支線，我都不熟啦！真的很不熟！公車站牌什麼的，我不熟啦！就說我很討厭搭公車，路途遙遠~我要騎機車！！！我真的是一個很不在地的在地人。

I be a tour guide for my classmates two days. We took a bus many times in Taichung City. I'm really really not familiar with Taichung City. I just know that go stright the Taichung Port Rd., and I can go home. I'm really not familiar with two side of Taichung Port Rd. and bus stops! Long long way to home~ I hate to take a bus! I want to ride a motorbike!!!

距上次到國立自然科學博物館，已經有十年之久，以前國小戶外教學活動到科博館，只要看到恐龍就無法掩飾興奮的心情。再次拜訪科博館的感覺真的很不一樣，會比較仔細的看看說明板上的文字、玩玩小遊戲，科博展的特展還滿多的，花一整天都看不完，科博館跟以前相較真的豐富很多。下次再去，反正門票很便宜~

The last time I went to National Museum of Natural Science is ten years ago. When I was young. I cannot hide exciting mood when I saw dinosaurs. To visit NMNS again is really different, read information of the exhitition very carefully and play some little games. NMNS is more abundant in exhibitions than before. I'll visit NMNS soon. Anyway the ticket is cheap.

2009.08.26 Chinese Valentine's Day 七夕

Today is Chinese Valentine's Day. I don't want to go out. Because the shine of couples is too bright! Give me a pair of sunglasses! Two years ago... Actually, I don't want to go out at Valentine's Day. But I still took MRT to Tapei Main Station, because I needed to go to cram school. A lot of couples surrounded me, I couldn't breath... Give me a pair of sunglasses!!!
